Having just played yesterday, the Horizon Scorpions will get right back to it and host the San Elizario Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Horizon's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so San Elizario's offense will have their work cut out for them.
While Horizon didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Horizon moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for San Elizario, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Horizon came up short against San Elizario in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 33-26.
