You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for St. Joseph on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles out of the water with a 63-21 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-11.

Gauge Donovan had an outrageously good game as he posted 25 points. Those 25 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Fridberg-Gerlich, who put up 15 points.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonas Sosa, who earned seven points. Sergio Hernandez was another key player, putting up four points.

St. Joseph's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Freedom Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will square off against Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will face off against Telos at 7:00 p.m. on December 3.
