Soccer Game Preview: Rockwall vs. Forney

The Rockwall Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Forney Jackrabbits at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockwall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Rockwall will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Longview, who they had gone 0-6-1 against in their seven prior meetings. Rockwall came out on top against Longview by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Yellowjackets were the better team in the second half.

They hit Longview with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Manny Perez, Jackson Chance, and Triston Gooch.

Meanwhile, Forney has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the second. They came up short against Tyler Legacy on Friday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Jackrabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 536th, while the Raiders are ranked 14th).

Forney's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-3. As for Rockwall, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
