Volleyball Recap: Norwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Norwood extended their losing streak to seven on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They lost 3-0 to the Ouray Trojans. Mavericks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Trojans since Tuesday.

Charlie Mull paced Norwood's offense, picking up five kills. Mull got some help from Aubrey Taylor and her four assists. Mull also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kieley Shepardson, racking up two apiece.

Ouray's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Ouray found their leader in freshman Imogene Demuth, who had 12 digs. Demuth has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Norwood has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Ignacio on the 18th. As for Ouray, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Dolores on the 13th.
