Soccer Recap: Mcdonogh Starts off Right with Win over Mercersburg Academy

McDonogh gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They blew past the Mercersburg Academy Storm 5-0.

Mercersburg Academy dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

McDonogh will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Phelps at 4:00 p.m. on October 24. As for Mercersburg Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Malvern Prep on the 17th.
