St. John's S extends home losing streak to five

Recap: St. John's S Saints vs. Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions

On Saturday, St. John's S ended up a good deal behind Northern Virginia HomeSchool and lost 62-46. St. John's S has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northern Virginia HomeSchool can attribute much of their success to Gabe Drown, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Esaias Anderson, who scored eight points.

St. John's S's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northern Virginia HomeSchool, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's S will take on Chelsea Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northern Virginia HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Fredericksburg V at 5:15 p.m. Fredericksburg V will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 377th, while Northern Virginia HomeSchool is ranked 117th).
