Soccer Game Preview: Taylor Prep vs. Arbor Prep

The Taylor Prep Tigers will head out to face off against the Arbor Prep Gators at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Taylor Prep has given up an average of 7.9 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Taylor Prep's offense. They lost 9-0 to Chavez Academy on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Taylor Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 427th, while Chavez Academy are ranked 140th).

Meanwhile, Arbor Prep's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against Henry Ford Academy as they made off with a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Arbor Prep, who have now won three matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory got Arbor Prep back to even at 4-4-1. As for Taylor Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Taylor Prep suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Arbor Prep in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
