Cardinal Newman had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over the John Carroll Catholic Rams. The Crusaders have beaten the Rams the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rams has come to flipping the script.
