Northeast has gone 8-1-1 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings will square off against the Lancers at 3:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Northeast earned a 3-1 victory over Science Leadership Academy. Given Northeast's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Science Leadership Academy are ranked 220th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Central walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Griffin 2-1.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Northeast took their victory against Central in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
