Westlake is 8-2 against Agoura since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will face off against the Chargers at 3:30 p.m. Westlake will be strutting in after a win while Agoura will be coming in after a defeat.

Westlake's tournament run continued when they took on San Luis Obispo on Saturday. The Warriors walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Tigers.

Mihalis Katsambas looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Charles, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Agoura and Calabasas had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Chargers fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 8-7 on Friday. Chargers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Coyotes since on Friday.

Westlake has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Agoura, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

Westlake took their victory against Agoura in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
