Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Island). They managed an 86-82 victory over the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Pine Island is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points per game. As for Lewiston-Altura, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Pine Island and Lewiston-Altura could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings.
