Volleyball Recap: Ark City Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Ark City Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Caney Valley Bullpups. Ark City Christian Academy was not able to make up for their loss to Caney Valley from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Caney Valley was led to victory by Lauryn Davidson and Emma Marshall. Davidson had seven digs and two aces, while Marshall had three digs and three aces. Haley Love also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Ark City Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Caney Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Ark City Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Attica on the 27th. As for Caney Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Central on the 27th.
