Basketball Recap: Hampshire Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jacobs last Tuesday, Hampshire came back down to earth. The Hampshire Whip-Purs were beaten by the McHenry Warriors 69-35 on Friday. The Whip-Purs haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Hampshire's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for McHenry, their win bumped their record up to 23-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampshire will venture away from home to face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hampshire surely won't give up without a fight. As for McHenry, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Patrick at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
