The biggest upset of the week belonged to Twin Valley South, who took down 352nd ranked Twin Valley South, 35-21.

Fans got a thrill when Conner Hellyer and Michael Fellers connected against Ansonia. The longest such play in Cross County this season, the connection resulted in 84 yards.

Austin Hutchins threw for 114 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 8-15 with 0 interceptions.

Fellers was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 126 yards on 5 carries as Miami East defeated the Tigers. Colton McKinney also contributed to the rushing game with 79 yards on the ground.

Fellers was the best receiver in the league this week as the Vikings beat Ansonia.

Hutchins put up the best numbers through the air as Tri-County North defeated Arcanum. Hutchins' favorite target this week was Garrett Woodyard, who caught 4 passes for 78 yards.

The Panthers' Hutchins and Woodyard have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Cross County in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Hutchins has thrown for 433 yards this season, while Woodyard has 11 catches for 181 yards. Eugene Hoening's team's Jordan Newman leads the league in rushing yards with 327.

Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Tri-County North's Woodyard goes up against Mississinawa Valley's Trevor Walker.

Next week's game between William Derringer's team and the Blackhawks will feature an aerial matchup as Hutchins tests his arm against Walker's defensive ability.

At the moment, the Trojans are in seventh, while Miami East is in second.

Bethel moved up to 541 from 603 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bees climbed the ranks as a result of beating Bradford 28-6.
