The Pioneers fell just short of the North Hunterdon Lions by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Pioneers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Somerville now has a losing record of 6-7. As for North Hunterdon, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.
