Softball Recap: Bruton Takes a Loss

Bruton lost against West Point on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-14 to the Pointers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bruton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for West Point, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Bruton will venture away from home to face off against Jamestown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Point, they will challenge Middlesex at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pointers are on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Chargers a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
