Soccer Recap: Flour Bluff Find Success

Flour Bluff won the last time they faced Carroll and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Flour Bluff Hornets skirted past the Carroll Tigers 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Hornets were the better team in the second half.

Flour Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five contests. As for Carroll, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flour Bluff will take on Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, they will face off against King at 8:00 p.m. on January 21st.
