Baseball Game Preview: Central Magnet vs. Bearden Bulldogs

Central Magnet are taking a road trip to challenge the Bearden Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Monday, Central Magnet came up short against Shelbyville Central and fell 6-3.

John Roth was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Bearden's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Friday. They fell just short of Morristown-Hamblen West by a score of 7-6. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bearden fell to 5-1. As for Central Magnet, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Central Magnet skirted past Bearden 5-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2017. Does Central Magnet have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bearden turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
