Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jake Phalen stepped things up a notch to give Custer County the 'W'. Phalen turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 160 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 165 receiving yards and one score. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102.9 receiving yards per game.

Looking ahead, Phalen and Custer County will venture away from home to challenge Lockwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Phalen will face off against Parker Rollins, the LIONS' star pass catcher.
