Softball Recap: Atlantic City Takes a Loss

Atlantic City lost against Williamstown back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings came up short against the Braves, falling 12-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atlantic City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Barrie, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Atlantic City now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Williamstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Atlantic City will square off against Atlantic County Institute of Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Atlantic City is facing Atlantic County Institute of Tech at the right time seeing as Atlantic County Institute of Tech is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Williamstown, they will challenge Gloucester County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gloucester County Tech will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Williamstown surely won't give up without a fight.
