After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Region, Community School of Naples was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Evangelical Christian Sentinels. This was payback for the Seahawks, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Community School of Naples got a great performance from Chris Risola as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nick Renteria, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Holland, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Community School of Naples was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Community School of Naples' win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Evangelical Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community School of Naples will welcome Imagine School at North Port at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evangelical Christian, they will be playing at home against Babcock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trailblazers have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
