Volleyball Game Preview: Escanaba Eskymos vs. Ishpeming Hematites

Escanaba is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Ishpeming is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eskymos will host the Hematites on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Escanaba made easy work of Iron Mountain and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Ishpeming was able to grind out a solid victory over Houghton on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Escanaba now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Ishpeming, their win bumped their record up to 12-2-1.
