Volleyball Recap: Bad Axe Takes a Loss

Bad Axe was the 2-0 winner over Croswell-Lexington when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hatchets fell 2-0 to the Pioneers on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Leading Croswell-Lexington to victory were Emma Adams and Rozlynn Cayce. Adams had nine digs and two aces, while Cayce had six digs.

Bad Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Croswell-Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-20 record this season.

Bad Axe is taking a road trip to take on Vassar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hatchets are facing the Vulcans at the right time seeing as the Vulcans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Croswell-Lexington, they will welcome Armada at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
