Logansport took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Lafayette Jefferson.
Logansport took Lafayette Jefferson into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-19, 25-21, 16-25, 15-11.
Meanwhile, Twin Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to West Lafayette.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7, 25-13.
The win got Logansport back to even at 8-8. As for Twin Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
