Softball Recap: Unaka Takes a Loss

Unaka's last matchup with North Greene could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Rangers lost 12-2 to the Huskies. The loss continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost five in a row.

Unaka saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mollie Buckles, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Unaka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for North Greene, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unaka will welcome Johnson County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Greene, they will host University School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
