First Baptist School put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Northwood Academy Chargers a 10-0 shutout. The Hurricanes' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Their offense was hitting Northwood Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ben Kaplanis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

First Baptist School pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those four games. As for Northwood Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, First Baptist School and Northwood Academy will both be playing Porter-Gaud the next time they take the pitch. Northwood Academy will host Porter-Gaud at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while First Baptist School will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
