Basketball Recap: Unaka Rangers vs. Washburn Pirates
Unaka had won two straight games and Michelle Shields did her part to make it three on Friday. The Unaka Rangers breezed by the Washburn Pirates to the tune of 64-35 thanks in part to Shields, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 19 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last six games she's played.

Unaka will head out on the road to square off against Twin Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Unaka's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Washburn, they will welcome University School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
