Soccer Recap: Magee Beats West Marion for Their Third Straight Victory

Magee entered their tilt with West Marion on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past West Marion 8-1. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Magee's offense was hitting West Marion from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Gervin Garcia led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Magee's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Magee is taking a road trip to square off against Mendenhall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Magee will be up against Mendenhall's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.25 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Marion, they will host North Pike at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
