Softball Game Preview: Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers vs. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton is 1-9 against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Fighting Saints at 4:30 p.m.

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since May 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Minneota, falling 10-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over Ortonville last Tuesday. The Fighting Saints have beaten the Trojans the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton couldn't quite get it done against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
