Basketball Game Preview: Mount Si Wildcats vs. Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats duke it out with the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Mount Si's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.

Last Monday, Mount Si was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 70-69 to Issaquah.

Mount Si might have lost, but man, Latt Ford was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Ford is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Brady Hennig, who went 7 of 11 en route to 18 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bothell/Inglemoor won against Ingraham last Tuesday with 79 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Bothell/Inglemoor took down Eastlake 79-62. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Mount Si's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points over those games. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
