Baseball Recap: Destin Takes a Loss

Destin managed to slip by Blountstown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Destin Sharks came up short against the Blountstown Tigers on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Destin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McCarver Dahlman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Dahlman also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Destin's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Blountstown, they moved to 4-14 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Destin will host Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. As for Blountstown, they will take on Port St. Joe at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
