Volleyball Recap: The Webb Schools Comes Up Short

The Webb Schools was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Calvary Chapel Grizzlies. The Gauls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-8.

The Webb Schools' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Calvary Chapel, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7.

The Webb Schools will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Western Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Calvary Chapel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Paraclete on the 29th.
