Soccer Game Preview: Crenshaw vs. Lakeview Charter

The Crenshaw Cougars will face off against the Lakeview Charter Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Crenshaw took a loss when they played away from home back in November, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Horace Mann UCLA Community. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-0.

Meanwhile, Lakeview Charter can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against George Washington Prep, sneaking past 3-2.

The win got Crenshaw back to even at 1-1. As for Lakeview Charter, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
