Basketball Recap: Norwin's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Norwin suffered their biggest defeat since December 16, 2024 on Friday. They lost 81-59 to the Upper St. Clair Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

Norwin's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Upper St. Clair, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwin will face off against Mt. Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Lebanon will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Norwin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Upper St. Clair, they will venture away from home to take on Connellsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
