Basketball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was the 42-32 winner over Manchester Memorial when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Concord Crimson Tide took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manchester Memorial Crusaders on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Crimson Tide without a win on the season.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Manchester Memorial, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6.

Concord will host Concord Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester Memorial, they are taking a road trip to take on Portsmouth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Manchester Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
