After a string of three wins, Altus's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by the Del City Eagles 80-36. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Eagles are ranked 39th).

Altus' defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Del City, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Altus will face off against Duncan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Duncan will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Altus surely won't give up without a fight. Del City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
