Volleyball Recap: Service Falls Short Against Ranked Dimond + How To Watch

Service faced Dimond in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Lynx. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Service lost, don't look at Jaelyn Lorenzo. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three assists.

Service's loss dropped their record down to 15-9-3. As for Dimond, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-9-1 record this season.

Service will square off against West Anchorage at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dimond, they will face off against Bartlett at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Golden Bears have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
