The matchup between Berkeley and Goose Creek on Friday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. Berkeley came out on top in a nail-biter against Goose Creek, sneaking past 5-4. Considering Berkeley's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Goose Creek with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caroline Guerry (2), Kaylee McCaskell, Kortlyn Dean, and Lainey Legrand.

With the win, Berkeley broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-4. As for Goose Creek, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
