Basketball Recap: Tate Triumphs

Tate's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 46-38 victory over Santa Rosa Christian. The Aggies pushed the score to 42-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Santa Rosa Christian cut but never quite recovered from.

Tate found their leader in freshman Brelynn Morris, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Morris. Sam Williams was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Tate's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Santa Rosa Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Tate won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Elberta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tate is facing Elberta at the right time seeing as Elberta is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Santa Rosa Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Olive Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th.
