Baseball Game Preview: Brennan Bears vs. Pieper Warriors

The Brennan Bears will take on the Pieper Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither Brennan nor Pieper posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Brennan saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 5-2 to Seguin.

Brennan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Antonio Nunez, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Nunez's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Pieper didn't have quite enough to beat Seguin on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Pieper dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brennan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Brennan couldn't quite get it done against Pieper in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
