Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Academy Victorious

While Cornerstone Charter Academy has struggled at home with four straight losses, that wasn't the case on Thursday thanks to Liam Dinsmore. The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pinecrest Lakes Prep Eagles thanks in part to Dinsmore, who had ten digs and two aces. Those two aces gave him a new career-high.

Cornerstone Charter Academy was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 24-26, 25-3.

Cornerstone Charter Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pinecrest Lakes Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Cornerstone Charter Academy will host Orlando Science at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinecrest Lakes Prep will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on April 8th.
