Basketball Game Preview: Animas Panthers vs. Dora Coyotes

The Animas Panthers will take on the Dora Coyotes in a tournament on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Animas came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by Hondo Valley and fell 76-36.

Meanwhile, Dora took a blow against Hagerman on Saturday, falling 70-37.

Animas will need to focus on slowing down Timmy Neal, one of several Dora players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points.

Animas' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dora, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
