Football Game Recap: Wilton vs. Columbus

Wilton entered their matchup on Friday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. They blew past Columbus 34-8. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Wilton, who can brag about four blowout wins.

The win bumped Wilton's record up to 7-1. Columbus are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-8.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Wilton will stay at home next week against Van Buren at 7:00 PM. Wilton are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Van Buren are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses. As for Columbus, they will face off against Wapello.
