Southampton put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Greensville County Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Southampton is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Greensville County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Southampton will take on Sussex Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Greensville County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
