Soccer Game Preview: Powell vs. Oneida

The Powell Panthers will square off against the Oneida Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Powell is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Powell duked it out with Knoxville Central on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Oneida fell victim to Roane County and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. Oneida have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Powell's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Oneida, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Powell skirted past Oneida 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
