Soquel entered their tilt with Harbor on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Pirates. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-2 win on Tuesday.

Connor Corlett and Jake Escalante were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Corlett tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Escalante tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At the plate, Corlett went 1-for-2 with two RBI, while Escalante went 2-for-4 with one home run.

In other pitching news, Luke Shoemaker looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Trey Sousa, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

Soquel's record now sits at 19-3. As for Harbor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.
