Basketball Game Preview: Warren County Wildcats vs. Meridian Mustangs

Warren County hasn't had much luck against Meridian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Warren County Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Meridian Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Warren County was beaten by Meridian 85-39. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Mustangs are ranked 47th).

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 21-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.8 points over those games. As for Warren County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
