Football Recap: Stigler Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Stigler managed to slip by Idabel the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Warriors on Friday, falling 28-7. The Panthers gained 92 more yards on the day, but it was the Warriors that made the best use of them.

Despite the defeat, Stigler saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Graham Easttom rushed for 169 yards and one score, and also threw for 100 yards on 11 of 24 attempts.

It was another big night for Mack Dixon, who threw for 214 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 63 yards on only eight carries for Idabel.

This is the second loss in a row for Stigler and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Idabel, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Stigler will take on Checotah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Idabel, they will square off against Muldrow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
