After flying high against Cristo Rey on Wednesday, Castle Park came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the San Ysidro Cougars on Friday, falling 3-0. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-12.

Castle Park's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 16-7. As for San Ysidro, they pushed their record up to 16-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
