Basketball Recap: Bishop Ward Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bishop Seabury Academy last Friday, Bishop Ward came back down to earth. The Bishop Ward Cyclones fell to the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles 35-30. The Cyclones haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Bishop Ward's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5-1 record this season.

Coming up, Bishop Ward will be playing at home against Heritage Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they will challenge Kansas City Christian School on Friday.
